This is an intricate depiction of yin-yang, a famous Chinese symbol of balance and harmony. Instead of traditional filling stitches, we used tattoo-like patterns to create the outlines of this great image. These patterns resemble the flames which can easily be connected to the fact that both yin and yang have the meaning of light and energy. Yin symbolizes the energy of Moon and its light, yang symbolizes the energy and fire of Sun. Together these concepts form a balanced combination that remains in eternal harmony.

Despite the fact that this embroidery design is composed of many elements, it will be very easy to stitch it onto any type of fabric, because these elements don’t overlap.
