In Greek mythology, Ares is the god of relentless,
perfidious war – a war for the sake of war, in contrast to Pallas Athena, the goddess of honest and fair war. Initially, Ares was simply identified with war and deadly weapons. But later he became much more important in the Greek pantheon.

He is usually depicted holding a shield and a spear and wearing armor and helmet. In this embroidery design, we rendered a variation of his image that is very close to a classic one. The silhouette consists of several large stitching areas that are adjacent to each other.
