Wartortle is the second step in the evolution of Squirtle. To balance its movements, Wartortle uses its fluffy ears and tail. They are visible even when the Pokemon is hiding in the shell.

While on hunting, Wartortle waits in ambush and appears only when the victim has no chance to escape. It is believed that Wartortles are excellent pets and can live up to 10,000 years (true or not, we will not be able to find out very soon). There is a certain amount of air in the tail of this Pokemon which it can use if necessary.
