A very simple design of a Nordic rune Isa.

This rune means stopping of some process. Its name literally means “ice”, which freezes, fixes this or that event. At least for a while. For example, it can be used in healing to stop the progression of a progressive disease. Or for protection by stopping hostile sorcery.

Unconscious awareness of personal spiritual strength “connects the waves”, “freezes” them and they become hard as ice. Not only the waves, but the whole of life is submissive to the compulsion of will. Therefore: “If you have power over yourself, then everything that is opposed to you in the spiritual and physical world will be in your power.”
