This is a simple embroidery design that depicts a cowboy wearing a traditional cowboy hat and riding a horse. The design consists of a single element with filling stitching. This ensures the easiness of the embroidering process.

The era of cowboys started in the second half of the 19th century in the so-called Wild West. The American settlers were moving westwards and needed a significant amount of food such as meat. That’s why it was essential to move the herds of cattle from the southern ranches to the central states. The job was thrilling and paid well, but was very dangerous.
