Order of the Eastern Star is a branch of the Masonic organization founded in the USA. In this embroidery design, we combined the traditional emblem of this group (which is a star) with images of compasses and a square which are very common masonic symbols.

In this emblem, the compasses represent the Firmament, and the square represents the Earth. The Earth is the place where a person does his work, and Heaven is symbolically connected with the place where the Great Constructor of the Universe draws his plan.
