Oddish looks like a small animated root crop. Its body is blue, with two small legs and red eyes. On the upper part of its head grows a large bunch of five long green leaves.

Oddish is a night-time Pokemon that uses moonlight, not sun-rays for photosynthesis. During the day, Oddish avoids the heat and brightness of the sun, digging into the ground, leaving only a bunch of leaves on the ground. This way, it can be mistaken for a plant. If somebody tries to pull Oddish out while it is underground, then it will scream in a terrible voice.
