Megara was a girl with whom Hercules fell in love with in the famous Disney animated movie. This movie tells a story of true love, remorse, and self-sacrifice, that eventually brings happiness and love.

Megara was sent by Hades, who hated Hercules, to learn about the hero’s weakness. Even though she fell in love with Hercules and decided to disobey Hades, it was too late. Kidnapped by Hades she died in his dungeon, only to be resurrected when Hercules offered his life instead of her’s.

Because of this noble deed, Hercules got his god’s power back and also survived.
