This is a quaint artistic composition depicting a moon and a star. A fascinating thing about this embroidery design is that although its main elements have shapes of celestial bodies, they are created from the elements that represent underwater life. That’s why the moon has a texture reminding of a mollusk, the star looks like a sea star, and a fish bites the lower end of the moon.

We have intentionally chosen not very contrasting colors for this embroidery, and this created a serene and dreamy look of the whole picture.
