Clockwork Doll Embroidery Design, 3 sizes

This is a very interesting embroidery design with an unusual idea behind it. It depicts a humanlike clockwork doll wearing a vintage dress and shoes. The peculiar thing about this design is that the doll that it pictures doesn’t look cartoonish or childish as in many other renditions. The overall style of the composition reminds more of steampunk or cyberpunk genre.

To create such an interesting artistic imagery we used several digitizing methods. The most useful and effective of them was run stitching method. It allowed us to create very precise elements of the doll’s hair and dress.
