Description:
In this embroidery design, our studio has depicted an ornamented rendition of a well-known ancient Egyptian cross called Ankh.
The Ankh cross is such a vital occult and sacred symbol for ancient Egypt that it is difficult to find any religious image of Egyptian gods where this mysterious sign would not be present. As a rule, it was depicted on the walls of tombs and reliefs. The term “Ankh” in the translation from Egyptian literally means “life”, or “the one who lives”.
In the unusual Ankh cross are united two symbols: the cross itself is the symbol of life, and the circle is a symbol of eternity. As a result, we get a unique artifact denoting the immortal, a being who has managed to revive itself in eternity.
Included 3 sizes:
-2.7″ x 3.9″ (69 x 99 mm) – 10 870 stitches
-4.9″ x 7″ (124 x 179 mm) – 22 990 stitches
