Its head is adorned with large horns, which reach a quarter of the total length of the body. The horns are used by male beetles during combat matches. Stag beetles fly well, and they can often be seen in flight at a surprisingly big height.

No wonder that these great creatures influenced various arts, such this embroidery design. We added some mystic elements, such as bird wings, to this image to make it look more magical.
